Snow Drops at St. George’s Church, Damerham

The snow drops at Damerham always make a fine showing, reminding us that winter is nearly over and spring is in the air. Mentioned in the Doomsday Book of 1086, the church dates back to early Norman times and there may well have been a Saxon church prior to that. The noteworthy barrel roofs of the nave and chancel were installed in the second half of the 15th century.
