Most of us have seen, and are fascinated by timelapse photography of things such as flowers opening in the sun. Timelapse enables us to view something that happens over a relatively long period of time condensed into a short time.
Building construction projects can be ideal subjects as they tend to take place over an extended timescale.
As an example, here are a few frames from the construction of a new church facility for Emsworth Baptist Church. Set to a piece of music specially composed by one of the members you can see the whole of the year long project in just over 5 minutes by clicking here
I have produced many timelapse videos of construction projects with a wide variety of subjects. Cameras have been installed in many locations, from a muddy field in the middle of nowhere, to the roof area of a waste transfer station to show new equipment installation; from a beach to document rock armour re-enforcement, to the River Thames in Greenwich for a bridge construction project. Clients have included Hampshire County Council, Poole Borough Council, Veolia and Knights (formerley Raymond) Brown Construction (for a wide range of clients).
If you would like a timelapse film made, please contact me to discuss your requirements.
