The Beech Drive

The sunrise peeping through the beech trees that flank the road running alongside the Iron Age hill fort of Badbury Rings in Dorset. Originally there were 731 trees - 365, (one for each day of the year), on one side and 366 (for a leap year) on the other - although age and weather have taken their toll on some.
